Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she caught the attention of the public in 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack for writing captivating, yet emotional songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream music and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogs to print media, receiving praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she began preparing for the launch of her debut album. Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie
