Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. She is most well-known as the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host for the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in the award-winning coverage by CNN of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar and events such as the debates to increase the federal credit limit or deliberations by the super committee. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent for general assignments. She has covered events like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision on Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the implementation of government stimulus programs in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007.
