Sharp was born and raised within Rochester (New York) and immersed herself in the world of music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet as well as piano. Her enthusiasm for school theatre was the reason she applied to The Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. Sharp performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp made her debut Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedic interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida and also Thunder Knockin Jitney and The Producers. She was even a reader of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp has other ideas which she's working on alongside her work for the stage and screen. A complete recording is currently on the way. She also continues to sing. Sharp is a fitness enthusiast and is always in good condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp lives with her family in Los Angeles.
