Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her main work involves focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian family background. She was born to a Madras High Court attorney. Her younger sister is an assistant researcher from Belgium who is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai, was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano around the age of eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. At age 10 she was an active member of the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. While at college she also was performing as a theatre artist in stage shows that were put on through The Madras Players. She was president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's professional career began with the Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva as part of a commercial for a coffee. She also acted in the serial that was broadcast on Podhigai channel. She's performed all across India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). Gautham A. Menon contacted her following the fact that she performed a number in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as the lead female character in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, that is a re-imagining of James Siegel's novel Derailed. The husband of the character is involved in an affair and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was chosen to play the character following the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were offered the role. It was released early in 2010. The film was released in early 2010. as part of Venkat's Mankatha in 2011 which starred a number of actors. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film by Rajeev ravi that was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
