Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. Her albums span over 20 years. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk or alternative rock. They also incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to launch her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had been in contact while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Both her parents were both from Montreal from Montreal. Ani's song, 32 Flavors, was composed by her and is performed by Ani. It is a track from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, that was her sixth studio album. This song appears in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologized for holding a conference in Louisiana on an old slave plantation. The course was later cancelled but she didn't show any regret. DiFranco released an apology just a few weeks after. Little Folksinger is a musician who has collaborated with musicians ranging from Pete Seeger, Chuck D and Prince. New Orleans is where she lives. Ani DiFranco is with Kristen Ford. At 14, she began to compose her own music. The songs she performed in bar and cafes throughout her teenage years. DiFranco went to Buffalo State College after graduating at the age of 16 from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
