Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. Beginning, she worked as a photographer's assistant. Then she shifted her focus towards modeling and directing. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
